To begin with lets have an overview of what was the scenario of last year admission .
First marks to rank distribution (Approximately )
Got this table from a student's site ..(Thanks to him -i hope there is no copyright issue )
Now at these ranks ,students got the ranks mentioned above .Now after analysing this year's paper ,i felt that it was a bit tougher to other year papers and hence the cutoffs will fall a bit and hence my prediction for your ranks in AIEEE 2008 is follows :-
- 275-305 marks (1-500 rank)
- 260-275 marks (500-1000rank )
- 235-260 ( 1000-2500 rank)
- 210-235 (2500-3000 rank )
- 180-210 ( 3000-7000 rank)
- 165-180 (7000-8500 rank)
- 150-165 (8500-12000 rank)
- 125-150( 12000-20000 rank)
- 100-125( 20000- 50000 rank)
- 80-100 (50000-75000 rank)
- 60-80 (75000-100000 rank)
- Below 60 (more than 100000 rank)
So i hope it goes like this as per my observation from last few years .A slight modification here and there can be expected .
Now its time for the counselling part of it

if u are having LOW SCORE in AIEEE or any other STATE examination and got low ranks like 3,00,000 & want too study in a college with good infrastructure ,placement,and faculty in PUNE or MUMBAI.
